This position will also be responsible for providing advocacy and case management services to a small caseload of minor survivors of human trafficking and those that are at risk of being trafficked within the Western New York community. Services provided to youth include victim advocacy, crisis intervention, safety planning, service assessments, and coordination of support services. This position is primarily field/community based and requires daily travel throughout Erie County and reliable transportation. Major Responsibilities/Activities: Assist in the development and facilitation of evidence-based prevention programming with youth and families with program fidelity and in accordance with Office on Violence Against Women guidelines. Conduct prevention education training, positive activities, and presentations for referral sources/community partners, youth focused service providers, schools, etc., as needed and assigned by Program Coordinator. Assist with and participate in community information/health fairs and other presentations and the distribution of informational program materials as needed. Documents all services activities and implements a program evaluation process. Substitute Teachers will be expected to do these responsibilities to the best of their capabilities under the directions of the ECP supervisors and classroom staff on an “as needed” basis. Essential Functions: Responsible for implementing site specific curriculum and plans classroom environment to encourage learning, independence and generalization of skills Responsible for modeling appropriate speech and language Attends appropriate meetings when necessary Assists and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the program design and implementation, the carryover of individual therapy goals to the classroom (e.g., speech, OT, PT, etc.), using specific teaching and/or behavior management strategies Maintains contact with the parent or guardian regarding their child's progress within the classroom Responsible, with other team members, for children's supervision and safety Meets with and shares information regarding educational strategies, techniques, and philosophies with classroom aides and/or personal / 1:1 aides Submits highest quality written reports in a timely manner in accordance with compliance standards including, but not limited to, evaluation reports, treatment plans, log notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries as required by site or assignment.
