Educational and Experience Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. 1-3 years of successful classroom management experience preferred. Key Skills and Abilities: Self-motivated and able to work independently. Highly organized with attention to detail. Strong communication and instructional delivery skills. Able to handle sensitive situations diplomatically. Responsibilities: Follow and implement lesson plans, supplementing activities when lessons end early. Take attendance and supervise students during designated times (lunch, recess, field trips, etc.). Enforce school and classroom rules, guiding students in their behavior and social development. Provide emotional support and set a positive example for students. Assist with supervision during lunch breaks, bathroom visits, hallways, and carline. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the administration, as needed. This job description is not exhaustive and may be updated as needed. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Primarily indoor work (90% of the time), with some outdoor exposure when moving between classrooms. Ability to remain stationary for long periods, especially when using a computer. Must be able to move supplies or equipment up to 35 pounds. Must assist children for health and safety reasons.
