The Teacher Assistant will provide supervision, care, and instructional support for Approved Private School serving preschool-aged children. Essential responsibilities include assisting the classroom teacher with all lessons and activities, providing personal care, monitoring goal progress, supervising children in the classroom and on the playground, and general support of children throughout the day. Teaching assistants support the classroom Teacher by assisting with implementation of IEP's, educational goals, implementing educational and therapeutic strategies as well as assisting with the classroom daily routine. The program follows a typical school year calendar plus a five week summer program. Substitutes would work on an as needed and available basis.
