Job Description: Portledge School seeks to hire a dynamic Upper School English Teacher for a full-time leave replacement position from late August 2025 - early December 2025. Responsibilities include teaching 5 sections of Upper School English, participating collegially in meetings, and taking an active role in the life of the school community, including as an advisor to approximately 10 upper school students. The Upper School English teacher will also be responsible for grading all assignments and assessments for the first quarter, preparing student comments for quarter one progress reports as needed, and meeting with families during the fall parent-teacher conferences.
