Summary Sewing Machine Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines and their related parts. This position requires a willingness to learn the use of various equipment and different sewing techniques. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Production sewing. Operate and maintain sewing machines and related parts. Exhibit willingness to learn use of various equipment and sewing techniques. Willingness to perform duties at various workstations. Inspect and repair finished products as needed and make machine adjustments to compensate for errors or quality issues. Report to Sewing Operations Team Lead for daily production tasks. Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards. All other duties assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Education Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required. We are seeking a skilled Sewing Operator to maintain a basic sewing process, including changing and threading needles, securing attachments, and performing process steps as instructed. The ideal candidate will maintain a high quality of workmanship with attention to detail, achieve acceptable daily output, perform quality checks, and provide feedback to area supervision on the performance of processes and equipment. Overtime shifts are from 5:00 AM to 3:15 PM due to being short-staffed. Once fully staffed, the schedule will revert to 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM. The facility is clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It is quiet, and employees can listen to headphones (one earbud) during work hours. Gym shoes and casual dress are required, as well as eye protection. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.82 - $17.82/hr.
