Role Summary
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in networking and system administration to support lab functionality and core services. You will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting lab infrastructure, networking devices, virtualization environments, and system administration tasks. Additionally, you will serve as an escalation point for lab issues and lead projects related to lab, rack, or service bring-up.
Key Responsibilities
Triage and resolve assigned tickets in a timely manner.
Deploy and configure Layer 2 (L2) networking devices, including cable patching.
Manage and remediate monthly patching compliance.
Configure and maintain KVM systems for remote access.
Deploy and manage Windows FileShares and FTP servers.
Deploy and maintain partner-facing virtual machines (Linux & Windows).
Monitor system health and alerts, ensuring service stability.
Administer PDU management and lab power systems.
Must-Have Qualifications
Hands-on networking experience with Cisco, Arista, SONiC OS, or similar platforms.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.
Strong Windows/Linux system administration skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with System Center Suite Administration (SCOM, DPM, SCCM/SCEM, SCVMM).
Familiarity with Cisco, Dell, Mellanox, or Arista network switches.
