This position is for an experienced Crew Chief who can work autonomously and remotely and lead a field crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients on large energy and transportation projects. Knowledge of or ability to learn surveying instruments and equipment and their use and care. Knowledge of or ability to learn the principles and practices of land surveying. Knowledge of or ability to learn state law regarding the establishments of plats, property lines, and survey monuments. Must pass DOT drug/alcohol testing and ability to pass a background check, if necessary. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check. Must be willing and able to travel for out of town assignments. Must be reliable and dependable. Must be able to work 40+ hours per week or as required. Must be physically able to work outdoors on all terrain and construction sites under all weather conditions, as required. Must be able to stand up to five hours at a time.
