As an Inpatient Pharmacy Evening Supervisor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles California, you will help assist oversight of pharmacy services for the medical center including but not limited to provision of clinical, operational and distribution services. The Supervisor evaluates and reallocates staffing needs based on patient census and performs all job duties in accordance with pharmacy policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, best practice documents, and standard operating procedures while following established quality and patient safety protocols.
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m - 11:30 p.m
Serves as the evening onsite pharmacy leader and collaborates with pharmacy staff and healthcare team members to support patient care needs.
Responsible for supervision of staff responsible for the medication use process, including accurate and timely distribution of medications and safe and effective use of pharmacy automation and technology to deliver medications and services to patients.
Monitors and evaluates pharmacy staffing on an ongoing basis to ensure teamwork, efficient workflow and appropriate coverage for ongoing operations Redeploys staff as needed to support patient care and pharmacy department needs.
Ensures staff compliance with medical center policies, procedures and protocols and regulatory requirements.
Assists managers and associate directors in assessing and resolving pharmacy operations issues/problems.
Actively participates in department performance improvement activities.
Serves as the Pharmacy Administrator-On-Duty (AOD) on a rotating basis and serves as a liaison to patient care units and Nurse Administrator of the Day (AOD).
Participates in the education and training of pharmacy staff, residents, interns, students, and other healthcare professionals. Serves as a preceptor for peers, students and other staff members.
Assures appropriateness of drug selection, dose, route, duration, frequency and timing of medications by providing recommendations to prescribers on appropriate dosage adjustments, drug therapy alternatives or discontinuation of medications.
Acts as a liaison and supports problem solving for patient care units, including but not limited to controlled medication discrepancies, drug procurement and drug storage issues and responsible for departmental disaster preparedness and response during the evening shift.
As needed, performs the duties of the pharmacist in the assigned areas to support patient care needs and may perform drug storage, distribution and inventory tasks and supports management of controlled substances and disposal of medications.
Accurately verifies orders, supports management of pharmacy drug protocols and performs sterile compounding during peak times if needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Begin production process by working on calendar alignment, TNA's and pre-production processes with product development team.
Work with cross functional teams to ensure all details are handed over in order to place Production PO's with appropriate factories; including but not limited to participation in order handover, provide TNA dates to teams, review tech packs and approved standards for clarity and accuracy.
Ensure factory/vendors are informed on all necessary retailer and company requirements as it relates to production, testing, compliance, etc.
Daily communication with overseas vendors and internal teams on all points of production: timeline, approvals, testing, inspections, etc.
Manage and own testing/inspection process along with overseas QA teams for all production.
Manage WIP with factory across your silo accounts, meet with production team weekly to review any potential issues, manage all points of production WIP with factory, and ensure TNA dates are met.
Review and deliver TNA timing to necessary cross functional teams (Development, Account Management, Tech Design, Sales) to ensure all dates are met.
Oversee all pre-production approvals including but not limited to bulk fabric w/cross functional teams, PP review for aesthetic approvals, TOP review for aesthetic approvals.
Review and send packing instructions and requirements to factories ensuring accuracy against customer requirements.
Manage all trim/packaging approvals (i.e. carton marking, hangtags, labels) and ensure compliance with Retailer and regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Efficiency - Oversee production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
Quality & Compliance - Ensure all products meet food safety regulations, quality standards, and company specifications while maintaining strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation protocols.
Team Leadership & Training - Manage and supervise production staff, provide training, and enforce workplace safety standards to maintain a productive and compliant workforce.
Inventory & Cost Control - Monitor raw material usage, minimize waste, and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while controlling production costs.
Requirements to be considered:
Bachelor's Degree or like experience
3+ years production manager experience within food/beverage manufacturing
Experience with liquid food/beverage manufacturing is higly preferred
Must have experience with FDA & USDA
Technical Supervisor

Responsible for quality control as well as conducting training and support for all Nikon service subsidiaries managed under Nikon U.S.A. including, but not limited to, Nikon group companies in Americas, oversea distributors for the Americas, sub-contractors, and authorized service centers in the U.S.. Investigate, resolve, and report concerning issues with Imaging and SRO equipment sent into Service to Nikon Corp. Supervise technicians and participate in special projects for the Service dept.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for the supervision of Nikon technicians and monitoring the quality of their work
Gather information regarding various issues with new and existing products, and provide feedback to Nikon Corp.
Evaluate repaired product to ensure quality workmanship
Monitor re-repairs and provide re-training as necessary
Provide support in Service activities to subsidiaries managed under Nikon Inc. including Nikon Canada, and Nikon Mexico
Create Service instructions for new products
Work directly with Technical Supervisor to update in-house technical staff, subcontractors, refurbishing facilities, overseas distributors, and Authorized Repair Centers on processes outlined on new TIE and SIE documents
Oversee quality enhancements and improvement measures
Advise technicians on repair and service matters
Plan and conduct repair training for internal offices, overseas distributors, sub-contractors and authorized service centers
Check and distribute all information and documents related to Service
Oversee the maintenance operations for professional services for various events
Travel overnight as needed in order to fulfill essential functions and key responsibilities
Work outside of normal hours of operation, as needed, in order to fulfill essential functions and responsibilities
Ancillary responsibilities:
Complete and administer performance evaluations for all direct reports
Answer technical questions from other departments
Participate in special projects assigned by Managers in Service

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
5 - 10 years technical experience
2 years digital or photography experience
Associates Degree or equivalent from Technical School preferred
Knowledge or reading and interpreting Service documents
SAP knowledge preferred
Working knowledge of electronics, mechanics and optics
Working knowledge of Nikon software (i.e. View, Capture) and Photoshop
Working knowledge of photography technology, equipment and accessories
Working knowledge of repair tools and equipment
Basic computer experience (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Ability to travel (includes overnight)
Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed
NDT Supervisor
