Coordinates movement of foreign program personnel/aircraft transiting through McMurdo via intracontinental Fixed Wing aircraft. Assists the Aviation Operations Manager in LC-130 operations as required. This is a full-time 2nd shift position that works routinely the 2nd shift with a 3:30 start of the shift each day for overlap with the manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Interface and diffuse all situations that may lead to potentially violent outcomes, enforce active shooter policy requirements and support the security of HPT for the full area of the facility. Support production in member issues if asked. Verify any property leaving into the parking lot has a property pass. Overall planning, scheduling, and completion of work in, EHS/Security and other duties and required areas of support as the need may develop. Investigate and resolve all issues as they occur. Verify people leave work during the shift and return from lunch if they clocked out if not make a written notice to HR/Production office. Interview in all conflicts, accidents, safety incidents, and environmental incidents and people issues. Interface with all plant management, groups, including quality, design, sales, customer service, finance and human resources in order to meet production, quality and compliance requirements. Develop and support plans and supporting services to attract and retain customers. Lead the customer interface systems and support manager in data as required. Support at Job fairs from time to time as required, this may require some Saturday day shift work. Understands supports and maintains safety and safe working practices in all production operations. Maintains compliance with OSHA regulations related to manufacturing. Must exhibit leadership ability and people skills in relation to motivation of others. Understands and implements 3C5S methods in all processes. Video research is a requirement in the investigation. Violence intervention and sometimes suspension of members is a requirement with HR approval. Reports directly to EHS Manager for safety and CHRO for HR duties along with additional support to HR recruiting for recruitment, HR, and FMLA responsibilities. Administrative Support for internal payment documentation. 70% hands on floor duty, 30% administrative. Constant presence on the production floor is critical in this position. Monitor company property to verify no one is parking in the back of the building unless approved by the EHS manager in relation to the active shooter policy. EHS Manager will determine the schedule but normal shift will be 10 hours Monday-Thursday and 8 hours on Friday. Must be able to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month. Qualifications: BS/BA Degree. Strong experience in the manufacturing environment. Ability to maintain a professional attitude under pressure. Availability to work 2nd shift hours and overtime during holidays if required. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint along with the ability to quickly learn the SAP system. Good verbal/written communication skills are required. Background with manufacturing methods, procedures, and continuous improvement programs. Diverse and flexible and have the ability to think and act in many varied situations and job duties.
