The Front Service/Houseperson will be responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel during the day shifts. 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday -Friday. Must be flexible for other shifts as needed including weekends.
Responds to guest requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
Stocks room attendant carts and supplies
Cleans furniture, elevators, glass etc., in public areas such as lobby, pool, public restrooms.

General Information:
Dates: 06/06/25 - 08/15/25 ( May extend longer based on scheduled student programs)
Days: Monday - Friday
Schedule: Hours may vary and are subject to change based on scheduled student programs
Report Time: 7:00AM / End Time: TBD (Likely around 12:30PM)
Wages: $20.00/Hour
Responsible to: Food Service Manager or Summer Program Coordinator
Summary: Generally responsible for preparing bagged breakfasts and bagged lunches, ordering food/supplies, organizing meals for distribution, receiving and storing deliveries, reporting and paper work, and clean up for Summer Food Service Program. Both meals will consist of cold food only. Other duties as assigned may include (but are not limited to) spot-mopping, trash removal, etc.
Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Two years experience in quantity food preparation in the position of head cook, cook, or
assistant cook.
3. Knowledge and understanding of Federal School Lunch and Breakfast Requirements.
4. Knowledge and understanding of Standardized Food Service Weights and Measures.
5. Two years experience in the operation and care for all standardized food service
equipment.
6. Must be able to train and supervise employees.
7. Has current knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation procedures.
8. One year experience in ordering and receiving foods, taking inventories, cashiering, and
filling out all government forms necessary for reimbursement in the school lunch
program.
9. Must be able to stand on feet for four hours or more, bend, and lift up to 25 by
himself/herself, and up to approximately 50 pounds with help from another staff member.
10. Must be able to come in early and stay late as needed by Manager of Food Service or
Summer Program Coordinator due to unusual circumstances (i.e., temporary meal time
changes).
11. Demonstrated experience in a position requiring the use of independent judgment and
discretion.
12. Experience functioning in a position or organization, requiring group or team effort
toward a goal/objective.
Duties & Responsibilities: 1. The interpretation and implementation of school rules and regulations as they affect the
summer food service program.
2. Training, supervising, and directing, the work of personnel under her/him, including
substitutes.
3. Supervising, and directing personnel in food preparation and in the operation, care, and
cleaning of equipment and utensils in the cafeteria and kitchen.
4. Monitor and record refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily.
5. Alert Manager of Food Service to problems and needs concerning equipment and food
supplies. Detect and report spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment or
other unusual conditions. Recommend corrective action.
6. Preparing and serving palatable food according to menus and specifications of the
Manager of Food Service.
7. Determine and control portions according to federal guidelines and directives by the
Manager of Food Service.
8. Properly order, receive, store, and rotate food and supplies.
9. Responsible for submitting to the Manager of Food Service accurate daily production
records of foods used in preparation of meals.
10. Responsible for submitting accurate records of monthly physical inventory of food and
supplies.
11. Responsible for providing and submitting proper forms and records in compliance with
district policies.
12. Responsible for submitting accurate records on appropriate forms for reimbursement
claims within the guidelines of Federal Meal Program.
13. Responsible for providing menu choices as instructed by the Manager of Food Service.
14. Implement and control sanitary and safety conditions as directed by the Manager of
Food Service in conjunction with the Department of Health Regulations.
15. Communicate and cooperate with the Manager of Food Service, Summer Program Staff,
children, and parents to meet the needs of the district.
16. Abide by the Mansfield City Board of Education policies and regulations.
17. Perform other appropriate duties which may be assigned by the Manager of Food
Service and/or the school administration.
