Responsibilities Install plumbing pipes such as: PVC, ABS, Cast Iron (no hub) and/or copper Install new fixtures according to manufacture specifications and municipal codes Install commercial gas and/or electric water heaters and tankless water heaters Install service for grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems and utilities within a commercial retail environment Perform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites which includes but not limited to dig trenches, set braces to support excavations sides, erect scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials Properly use equipment such as a jack hammers and saw cutters Read and layout from blueprints, plans and isometric drawings Must be able to work according to current OSHA safety guidelines and policies Additional duties assigned as needed to support the operations of the department Requirements Minimum of four years of commercial plumbing experience Valid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Verbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states. Full-time Description The Lighting Technician will complete service routes ensuring timely completion of service and repair within retail environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of recent experience as a lighting technician or commercial electrical experience and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Schedules are Monday to Friday with occasional overnight shifts, a two-week training schedule and a three-month probation period. Technicians are issued company vehicles and allowed to start their routes from their home address or location. As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will process incoming and outgoing commercial construction materials. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in commercial construction wholesale parts and materials.
