Major Functions: · Lead and assist in the planning and implementation of the daily academic and tutoring support initiatives of the after-school program under the direction of program coordinator. · Lead and assist in preparing rigorous academic environment sound classroom management practices, including the preparation of needed supplies and materials. · Supervise participants in said classroom. · Advise and communicate with participants and families any questions or concerns related to their child's weel-being. · Maintain professional attitude. · Communicate with program coordinator and school staff regarding class/club program activities. · Communicate with parents and families regarding program activities. · Perform other duties as assigned.
