Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children
Create and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
Communicate regularly with parents and families about their child's progress
Supervise and support assistant teachers and aides
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development
Skills:
As the Daycare Infant Teacher, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, families, and staff. You will also need to have strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and implement curriculum. Additionally, you will need to have a deep understanding of child development and be able to apply that knowledge to create a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Finally, you will need to be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all children.
