RECEIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure daily deliveries are received and inspected within 24-48 hours.
Support Receiving Supervisor and receiving team for all SAI deliveries and ensure proper procedure for receiving, inspecting, wrapping and binning is being followed.
Receive and inspect all wholesale merchandise.
Under general supervision this position supports the receiving and shipping functions in the warehouse for all SAI furniture & Wholesale product.
Inspect products for defects and damages and report to Warehouse Manager/ Floor Manager and Production Department.
Ensure product is tagged and put away accurately once received with proper protection and binned.
Work within Netsuite and RF Smart to receive all products for Shoppe.
Work with team members to move SAI furniture in the warehouse and support shipping prep.
Support all weekly deliveries and photoshoot deliveries and installs.
Operate Forklift
Help wrap and prep SAI furniture for shipping with the shipping department when needed.
Communicate with production and logistics on all receiving and any issues with product during the QC process.
Troubleshoot inventory requests from Sr. Warehouse Manager.
Support the overall warehouse by keeping the warehouse floor and inventory organized and clean.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Support Warehouse Management team and facility.
RECEIVER QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ years of warehouse experience preferably in home decor or interiors.
Receiving experience preferred.
Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
GREAT communication skills both verbal and written.
Be a team player
Accuracy in counting and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and mobilize large items, up to 50 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
