Essential Functions of the Position:
Assist in delegating and assigning responsibilities and specific tasks to night crew team members as delegated by store management and ensuring assigned tasks are completed according to company standards.
Assist in monitoring shelf price integrity and restocking to ensure accuracy, proper product rotation, and quality protection.
Assist in monitoring procedures for case cutting to minimize the potential for damaged products and loss to the company.
Process damaged and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
Assist in ordering and inventory control; notify store management regarding invoice errors and product shortages according to company policies and procedures.
Assist in maintaining the “Wall of Values,” end displays, and soda wall.
Coordinate with the Grocery Manager and Store Director to maintain back-stock items and merchandise on store shelves.
Take stock of applicable storage and workload areas.
Assist in maintaining functions of forklift lifts and other equipment as needed. Reports damaged or malfunctioning equipment to store management.
Monitor store conditions and report areas of concern to store management promptly.
Assist in the training and developing of night crew team members as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge:
Understanding of inventory systems and procedures.
