The Studio Manager is an integral role that plans and directs the day-to-day operations of their assigned studio. This person manages and supports consultative sales; develops strategies to improve customer service, drive studio sales, and increase profitability. They also ensure client needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is delivered according to the brand standard. The Studio Manager coaches team members to optimal performance, recruits additional team members and resolves issues as needed. As the primary point of communication for the team, this position requires high attention to detail, strong communication, and organization. This position has direct supervision of the non-clinical team. Essential Responsibilities: Deliver sales performance and business volume to meet studio goals. Attains comprehensive knowledge of all product and service offerings. Communicate, implement, enforce, and comply with all Chapter policies and procedures both individually and at the studio level. Responsible for the overall daily management and supervision of employees including but not limited to personnel files, performance reviews and coaching, recruiting and selection, and training. Resolves all client satisfaction issues, incident reports, or identified concerns; escalates to Operations Director as necessary. Responsible for inventory activities including purchasing, merchandising, stocking, and tracking supplies. Manages the studio financial health and activities including daily deposits, budgeting, revenue projections, and cost of goods control. Plans and facilitates clinic daily huddles, team meetings, on-site trainings, and events. Manages facility standards and maintenance including exterior and interior upkeep, safety, and cleaning. Serves as brand ambassador, community outreach as appropriate. Ensuring involvement in local community - managing reputation as a ā€œgood neighborā€. Gatekeeper of culture, creating a cohesive team who demonstrate our purpose and values. Manages individuals in meeting performance objectives, sales and development goals. Maintains relationships with all current clients. Conveys organizational changes and company messages in a timely and positive manner. Manages scheduling and coverage of the studio. Fill in for Treatment Plan Coordinator as needed (answering phones, scheduling etc.). Exhibit professionalism and behaviors reflective of a leader. Minimum Education and Experience: Education level: Bachelor's Degree preferred; Successful sales experience may be substituted for academic credential. Ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines. Ensure all store fixtures and equipment are in proper working order. Complete Omni-Channel orders daily. Safeguard company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices, including scam awareness, safety best practices, and making bank deposits as required. Conduct store inventory counts, stock/restock merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and move products from the stock room to the front of the store to ensure that all products in the store are represented, organized, and alphabetized on the selling floor. Support store management in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative and operational duties. Count, balance, and reconcile daily business transaction totals accurately in the POS system. Ensure that all closeout paperwork for daily business transactions and bank deposit slips are completed correctly and accurately. Assist management in ensuring the store has sufficient cash and change for sales transactions. Make daily bank deposits following established guidelines. Check shipments for discrepancies or shortages and record any discrepancies in the POS system. Report any discrepancies to the Store Manager / Store Manager 2 /Assistant Store Manager as needed. Process defectives/recalls, and stock pulls accurately and promptly, ensuring that all boxes are properly labeled and include packing lists. Visually inspect associates' and leaders' packages and/or belongings at store closing or at the end of a shift. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates in the absence of management. Consistently adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, all policies and procedures in the Associate Handbook and the Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct. Follow all opening and closing procedures. Observe associate performance and provide timely and appropriate feedback to the store management. QUALIFICATIONS* Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Must be able to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 10 hours per day. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES Exceptional guest service skills. Provide genuine and friendly assistance to every guest during each visit. Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication and listening skills, both in person and on the phone, using spoken and written English; bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills preferred. Operate the POS computer system and properly complete the required paperwork. Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and alphabetizing skills. Self-motivation and ability to work as a team to complete necessary tasks in a timely manner. Problem-solving skills and judgment abilities. Follow instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deliver bank deposits following loss prevention safety guidelines. Work a flexible schedule, including extended hours/days as necessary, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Minimum of 3 days/week availability. Remain effective under pressure and handle stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization. Bend, stoop, reach with arms/hands, climb ladders, and lift merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs. from ground level to a minimum height of 4 feet. Stand and move throughout the store unassisted to provide guest service or perform tasks in any part of the store for up to 10 hours per day.
