Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' overall shopping experience. You ensure our merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.
This role is physically demanding, and to be successful, you will need to understand proper lifting procedures and prepare to move merchandise for most of your shift. Additionally, you will replace damaged shelving, keep the backroom organized, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.
While most of your time will be spent in activities that don't involve customer interaction, you may be expected to answer customer questions and assist in handling merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure products are accurately received, stocked, and replenished.
Follow proper lifting guidelines to safely stock products on shelves
Ensure aisles are clean, organized, and safe

Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including both front end and pharmacy. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Shop Assistant/Delivery Driver supports the Service/Construction Team to assist with Service/Construction projects and office/shop maintenance. This position is responsible for maintaining the entire shop and yard areas in a clean and organized manner, managing inventory, pulling and delivering parts, working on jobsites as directed, and maintaining/repairing all company vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records
Maintain DOT certification and records

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Shop Assistant/Delivery Driver supports the Service/Construction Team to assist with Service/Construction projects and office/shop maintenance. This position is responsible for maintaining the entire shop and yard areas in a clean and organized manner, managing inventory, pulling and delivering parts, working on jobsites as directed, and maintaining/repairing all company vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment. The Shop Assistant/Delivery Driver will be expected to give his/her best effort to help this department run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain accurate inventory records
Maintain DOT certification and records
Maintain driver logs in accordance with DOT requirements
Deliver/pick up/put away parts and other items as needed
Pick up yard daily
Unload/load trucks operating a forklift
Clean break room on a weekly basis
Take out trash daily
Put out dumpster every Thursday
Supply jobsites as needed with parts, materials, etc.
Ensure compressed gas bottles are always chained
Sweep gutter monthly
Clean up all spills promptly
Lock and secure all doors and gate at night
Check foreman's inbox and take all items with you on a job run to that foreman
Ensure that trucks are fueled and clean inside when you put them away at night
Jobsites clean up
Clean exterior of trucks monthly
Keep all shop walkways, entrances, and exits unobstructed and free from tripping hazards

See that all tools/cords/equipment are in good working condition and are stored and ready for use
Inspect and maintain engine driven welders
Keep compressed gas cylinders stored properly: full versus empty: Oxygen must be kept at least 20 ft. from Acetylene
Provide support to Fabrication Manager, Lead Shop Assistant, Construction Superintendents, and Construction Foremen
Keep shop and yard areas clean and organized
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to use general office equipment
Skills required using basic hand tools (including hammer, drill, screwdriver, pliers, vice grip, grinder, band saw, hand saw, wrenches, power tools, etc.)
Knowledge of construction refrigeration/piping a plus
