Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' overall shopping experience. You ensure our merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.
This role is physically demanding, and to be successful, you will need to understand proper lifting procedures and prepare to move merchandise for most of your shift. Additionally, you will replace damaged shelving, keep the backroom organized, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.
While most of your time will be spent in activities that don't involve customer interaction, you may be expected to answer customer questions and assist in handling merchandise.

As a Warehouse Associate at our new warehouse in Scarborough, Maine, you will be responsible for a variety of physical, clerical and customer support tasks associated with inbound and outbound distribution, materials handling and inventory control. Primary Duties + Responsibilities
May be responsible for any or all of the following:
* Picks, packs, loads and ships products to national and international customers and distribution centers
* Prepares documentation and products, ensures accuracy of documentation and shipments, and troubleshoots and resolves issues as required
* Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials where needed, and staging finished product.
* Maintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse and environment
* Investigates and resolves inventory inaccuracies and provides root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
* Supports inventory processes, solutions and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; includes cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting and reporting
* Moves and stores equipment, raw materials and inventory for internal and external customers
Schedule: This will be a day shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Education
* High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Required Skills + Abilities
* Ability to work well under pressure and tight time constraints
* Ability to effectively function in a team environment
* Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Good computer skills and knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
* Excellent customer service skills

- CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor) - 6 months of experience using a computer, including: inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information AND 6 months of experience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter, access, and output information.
_Preferred Qualifications_
- Assembler & Receiver/Stocker - 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
- CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor) - 6 months of retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping.
If the state or local municipality requires a salesperson license for this position, you must either be licensed or pass the requisite licensing exam within sixty (60) days of starting employment in this position.
