A operator is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and packaging all equipment, tools, and medical devices used in clean rooms, usually in the medical, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries. Rotating shift: 6:30 AM-6:30 PM / 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM Equipment Operator I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of simple automated assembly machines. This individual will ensure the continued operation of assembly machines through the interpretation of an appropriate response to machine faults and through infrequent alignment of stations and fixtures. This individual will perform simple, repetitive tasks associated with machine operation and will operate machines that require a low level of attentiveness. The operator is also responsible for ensuring that medical devices are assembled with the highest quality possible. Simple machines: o Involve press and torque fitments, o Are typically less than 10 stations, o Have low levels of operator attention, o Have minimal station and fixture alignments. The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. In addition, this role will serve as back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience, preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly Responsibilities Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks. Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products. Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices. Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
