The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. In addition, this role will serve as back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. You'll be responsible for a variety of duties including providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, merchandising, stocking merchandise, and maintaining visual standards and delivering curbside orders to our customers.
Physically unloading trucks and check in product according to Company procedures.
Stock merchandise according to visual standards, schematics, visual direction, pricing standards, productivity and safety standards.
Maintain the stockroom and sales floor organization and standards.
Adhere to all company Loss prevention policy and procedures, and distressed merchandise procedures.
General housekeeping as directed by management.
Assist customers utilizing World Market service standards as well as representing World Market brand.
Cashier according to customer service guidelines and register procedures as needed.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. This job receives products in the Inbound section. As far as the outbound section, this job ships products.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
Responsibilities
Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
