    Electrician/Tillamook Stimson Lumber Company in Tillamook, Oregon is seeking an Oregon Licensed Electrician who is team-oriented and possess great problem-solving skills. Our electricians provide high quality results through excellent teamwork and focused execution. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts, Swing Shift/3pm to 2am. Starting Pay: Base pay for this skilled position will start at $42.00 to $46.00 per hour. People with significant knowledge and experience may come in at a higher level. The range for Electricians in our Oregon Mills is $42-55/hour, with people at the higher levels usually possessing PLC Programming Skills. Pay Differential: This is a Swing Shift Position, meaning that you will earn another $1.50 per hour in shift differential over your negotiated base pay. Overtime: This position is eligible for Overtime at time and a half. Commute Pay: All Mill employees receive a $350/month fringe benefit to help with the cost of commuting and transportation. This is the equivalent of another $2.00 per hour for full-time employees. Healthcare: Stimson pays over 80% of the premiums for healthcare coverage for full-time employees, including medical, dental and vision. 401(k): Stimson provides a 100% match on the first 6% of your pay when you contribute to your 401(k) retirement account. Profit Sharing: Contributions are deposited annually into your 401(k) account for Profit Sharing, up to 3% of your pay. Bonus: This position is bonus eligible and will receive a discretionary bonus in years when the company and location are profitable. Responsibilities and Duties: • Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of the electrical distribution system • Interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, codes, ordinances and other documentation of equipment and systems within the plant • Continuously evaluate and analyze electrical quality and safety processes and procedures • Proactively communicate with departments and outside vendors to ensure proper operation and maintenance of systems and equipment • Model, implement and comply with company work and safety rules and related industry regulations • Safely install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including components of machinery and equipment • Identify new approaches or best known methods to foster our continuous improvement mentality • If you are skilled in PLC Programming, utilize PLC knowledge/troubleshooting skills to assist in designing and repairing electrical systems Qualifications and Skills: • A minimum of 5 years electrician maintenance experience with an Oregon Electrician License/Journey Electrician (or ability to get one within 6 months) o Oregon has reciprocity agreements with: Arkansas, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Utah, Wyoming. • Proven experience or expertise in the following technical areas: o Tempo sonic linear positions o Schematics, understanding and troubleshooting o Computer skills, experience with preventive maintenance software preferred • Electrical maintenance experience with MCC's, VFD's, conveying and hydraulic systems. • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, codes, ordinances and other documentation of equipment and systems • Strong understanding of codes and ordinances • Understanding of PLC's with ability to troubleshoot is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Team player and highly self-motivated individual • Establish and maintain working relationships with maintenance, production, management and outside electrical vendors • Experienced in implementing safety procedures in the workplace Who is Stimson Lumber?     Job Details Tillamook Mill - Tillamook, OR Full Time $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 Salary AnyDescription Manufacturing Supervisor-Tillamook Stimson Lumber Company in Tillamook, Oregon is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor who is team-oriented and possesses strong communication skills. Accountabilities: - Responsible for providing safe work area for employees and ensuring employees receive appropriate training and support. Cleanliness expectations are assigned and monitored. - Responsible to consistently achieve success relative to department KPI's and goals, asking for support when needed. - Manages a team of accountable for all production, safety, and housekeeping within assigned department. - Ensure quality goals are achieved within the department. This requires excellent communication with other departments which are either delivering raw materials or receiving department output. - Serve as a catalyst of continuous improvement by challenging quality, safety and production through project justification, goal setting and cause and effect-relationships. - Be a driver of proactive safety behavior by leading by example, holding employees accountable for unsafe practices - Actively engage in safety initiatives to continually communicate comprehensive and interactive safety protocols that target and identify safety hazards - Effectively and efficiently manage labor costs in the department through overtime and shift scheduling - Actively engage all employees to ensure teamwork, alignment of team to goals, effective training and resolution of problems. Work with employes to understand their long term career goals and work with them on their progression. - Monitor and track supplies, expenses and repairs to maximize mill production and quality while minimizing costs. - Innovatively approaching problems to determine effective solutions while challenging the status quo. - Hold direct reports accountable to expectations and goals through expectation setting, coaching, and written feedback. Qualifications: - External candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role with strong safety and CI experience.     The DOT Safety Compliance Coordinator ensures company vehicles, equipment, and employees comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies. This role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the driver safety program, conducting driver training and skill assessments, and ensuring compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Effectively evaluate, monitor, analyze and identify all driver compliance issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Responsible for helping manage internal and external DOT/FMCSA compliance reporting. Respond to and conduct incident investigations. Make recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitor, review and implement Driver Safety Education Program and driver training per DOT regulations. Monitor, review and respond to drivers ELD for HOS violations and questions. May assist in the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls, procedures and operational processes. Identify areas of poor performance indicators as reported by FMCSA. Provide guidance and oversee all communications related to the reporting of FMCSA scores and progress to the Logistics Operations Manager. Perform trend analysis on compliance related activities. Provide weekly, monthly reports with metrics on safety. Process and manage all driver accident claims with our Risk Management team and insurance carrier. Work with Accounting Manager and Risk Management to maintain the current vehicle list. Maintain roadside inspections and citations along with vehicle maintenance program for fleet. Review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports daily and communicate with maintenance to ensure resolution. Hold driver safety meetings and provide drivers with a voice to leadership. Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections and driver logs to ensure compliance. Responsible for site safety processes Responsible for Fire Extinguisher maintenance scheduling Other duties as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 Year of Experience in a safety compliance role Skills: Expertise and extensive knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and OSHA regulations. Deadline driven with excellent organizational skills. Previous ELD software experience, Samsara preferred. Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Capability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Self-starter with ability to take initiative and be an independent thinker. Ability to define processes and procedures as well as initiate tasks related to job requirements. Knowledge of permits relating to DOT Must have strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to assess, coach and mentor drivers. Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Valid Class A CDL 2+ years of experience in transportation compliance Certified Defensive Driving Trainer Knowledge or willingness to learn different facets of trucking (chips, flat beds, logging) PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs.     Job Details Forest Grove Mill and Resource Office - Gaston, OR Full Time $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly SwingDescription PM TECHNICIAN: Stimson Lumber Company, Forest Grove, is looking to add two PM Technicians to their maintenance team. Preventative Maintenance Technicians are responsible for sawmill machine maintenance, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance and oiling. Both positions are swing-shift, Monday-Thursday, or Tuesday-Friday: 2:30pm-1am: Starting Pay: Base pay for this skilled position will start at $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. People with significant knowledge and experience may come in at a higher level. Pay Differential: This is a Swing Shift Position, meaning that you will earn another $1.50 per hour in shift differential over your negotiated base pay. Overtime: This position is eligible for Overtime at time and a half. Commute Pay: All Mill employees receive a $350/month fringe benefit to help with the cost of commuting and transportation. This is the equivalent of another $2.00 per hour for full-time employees.
