Job Summary
The Simulation Operations Specialist will work directly with and assist the Director of Operations In their responsibilities of the daily coordination of statewide MCG Educational Simulation events. This includes, but is not limited to, the coordination, management, and monitoring of technology, equipment, and supplies for simulation activities. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities
The duties include but are not limited to:
AV TECHNOLOGY: Demonstrate working knowledge of a range of common AV hardware and software. Provide general technical support and troubleshooting for the AV system. Set up, operate, and store audiovisual equipment. Demonstrate safe and effective operation of the AV system.
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT: Maintain an understanding of education principles, regulations, and standards/best practices. Support MCG Educational Simulation and regional campus simulation stakeholders In the use of Instructional media and equipment. Provide pre-briefing and/or orientation to learning environment for learners, faculty, and other staff. Support all MCG Educational Simulation faculty, staff, and learners in the safe and appropriate use of specialized equipment and resources locally and at the statewide MCG Experiential Learning sites. Serve as an internal consultant for integration of the simulation environment and technologies into the education program and MCG curriculum. Assist with examinations, assessments, and testing. Demonstrate knowledge of relevant health professions principles and practices. Assist in the preparation of technical data/materials for future reference such as publication or teaching purposes.
IT EQUIPMENT: Set up, operate. and store IT equipment. Set up, schedule, and assure connectivity between the regional campus sites for state-wide simulation activities. Demonstrate correct use and provide general support and troubleshooting for all IT equipment. Undertake inspections of IT equipment to monitor condition and report failures. Provide specialized technical support and troubleshooting on IT-related equipment and services. Safeguard privacy and security of simulation data and technology assets. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot tale-simulation for remote participants.
SIMULATION OPERATIONS: Assist with planning, coordinating, scheduling, and executing all statewide simulation activities and services in alignment with the organization strategic plan. Undertake stock control, ensuring adequate security and levels of consumables and equipment are maintained at all of the statewide MCG Experiential Learning sites. Ensure local preparation and storage areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner and comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain documents and records in support of MCG Educational Simulation program operations. Maintain knowledge of and compliance with institution and industry policies, standards, and regulations. Contribute to the MCG Educational Simulation program business activity, administration, and reporting.
SIMULATION TECHNOLOGY: Set up, operate, store, maintain, and repair simulators, task trainers and other simulation equipment. Demonstrate safe operation of common medical equipment and associated resources. Provide general support and troubleshooting for both In person and remote simulation technologies. Contribute to and maintain simulation technology-related documentation. Liaise with vendors to ensure current and future simulation technology needs are met. Set up, program, operate, store, test, and calibrate simulators, task trainers, and other simulation equipment. Research, create, apply, and remove moulage/special effects appropriate to the scenario to increase realism. Prepare simulation environment to accurately represent a clinical setting using real and simulated clinical supplies and equipment.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with 3 years of experience in simulation, healthcare, technology, or teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 plus years of experience in an academic health sciences and/or academic medical center with demonstrated understanding of the educational healthcare environment. Knowledgeable of Event Management System (EMS) or comparable product.

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients (For Present / Future Requirements) and ProSidian Team Members work as part of a Cadre to fulfill requirements.
Technical Support Specialist - Administrative/Business (PC103) Candidates shall work to support requirements for RFP192242R Technical Support (Administrative/Business Services) and:
Provide a variety of administrative, technical, and staff support services to the Project Integration Department.
Support the control and implementation of organizational objectives.
Assist with the development and implementation of projects, programs, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
May serve as liaison with others regarding activities related to objectives, planning, and analysis of issues.
Follow safety and security procedures.
Specific Tasks/Activities:

Support the EVMS and PMO Compliance Managers with coordination and planning of training, required reading and test giving. Also, provide procedure, system description and guidance document development and revision support.
Support the SRR Risk Management team with general administrative support including risk document updating, revisions and editing. This may include meeting coordination, facilitating and scheduling.
Support the Estimating team with general administrative activities, including updating, editing, and revising the Estimating Procedure Manual sections, Desktop Guides, and other documents.
Support Estimating by maintaining supplies and anticipate re-ordering, arranging for repair or replacement of equipment and computers.
Support the technical formation of updated material pricing data for insertion into the Material Pricing Database, provide quality checks of the data prepared by Estimators.

Summary
The Forklift Battery Specialist is responsible for the maintenance including watering, and management of batteries used in forklifts. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of forklifts by properly maintaining and optimizing battery performance. This position requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with battery systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot battery-related issues.
Essential Functions
Battery Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of forklift batteries. This includes checking battery fluid levels, cleaning battery terminals, and monitoring battery charging processes.
Battery Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot battery issues, such as low voltage, short circuits, or battery cell damage.
Battery Testing and Monitoring: Utilize specialized tools and equipment to test battery capacity, voltage, and overall health. Monitor battery performance metrics and identify any abnormalities or signs of degradation.
Battery Replacement: Determine when a battery has reached the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced. Properly dispose of old batteries and install new batteries in forklifts.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of battery maintenance, repairs, replacements, and performance data. Generate reports on battery health, usage, and any recurring issues.

Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide a high level of support to the Libraries and University through extensive knowledge of Special Collections and Institutional Archives. Maintains integrity of materials related to the history of Augusta University and the broader Augusta community, through professional standards of library and archival practices and preservation. Assist patrons researching community, personal and/or institutional histories. Facilitates usage of Reese Library Special Collections and Institutional Archives by creation of finding aids and providing assistance to researchers and patrons. Assists the Special Collection Librarian in the supervision of student workers, interns, and volunteers.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
REFERENCE SERVICES: Assist on-campus and off-campus researchers and patrons by answering queries regarding the history of Augusta, the CSRA, and Augusta University, including genealogical queries. This includes finding research materials and providing digital surrogates of material, if necessary. Maintains statistical data on queries and visits to the Reading Room.
COLLECTION CARE: Arrange and describe archival collections held within the Reese Library Special Collections and Institutional Archives. Perform basic preservation on materials as needed. Create finding aids using metadata and descriptive standards, e.g. DACS, EAD, MARC, etc. Assists in the supervision of student workers, interns, and volunteers working with collections.
DIGITIZATION: Digitize archival materials according to professional standards for inclusion in the Augusta University institutional repository, Scholarly Commons. Create metadata for digitized materials following Dublin Core and/or other descriptive standards. Provide best possible digital preservation of the digitized items.
OUTREACH: Participate in departmental outreach efforts, including assisting in the curation and installation of exhibits
DONATIONS: Serve as a point-of-contact for interested parties wishing to make material donations, e.g. books, archival collections, etc. to the Reese Library Special Collections and Institutional Archives
OTHER DUTIES: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with one (1) year of professional library information services, or education experience OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of progressively responsible library experience.
