DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of the Vice President of Specialized Programs are, but are not limited to: Responsible for providing instructions in the main core subjects including reading, English language arts, science, and mathematics. * Responsible for providing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics "STEM" curricula. * Ensuring all lessons and activities will be delivered and facilitated using engaging, creative, innovative, and "hands-on" techniques. The Certified Teacher will select and modify instructional materials and plans to enhance learning and motivates students to actively engage in a meaningful learning experience. * Manage materials, equipment, and time effectively; interpret data for diagnosis and instructional planning; maintains accurate and appropriate records and files. * Provides 21st Century club members opportunities to use technology; and ensures that club member growth and achievements are continuous and appropriate for the age groups. * Works closely with School-Based Club Director to communicate effectively with parents. OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Actively participate in BGCA training, internal training, and All Staff meetings * Report suspicions of abuse or neglect to the State Abuse Hotline * The Certified Teacher will be on-site during all hours of a program operation to ensure that all activities support student instructions. * The Certified Teacher is provided with 30 minutes per day for set-up and planning. * Support other projects as needed. * Completes any additional assignments as requested by the Club Director 3.
