Our Principal Manager, Labor Relations will provide strategic direction on the development, recommendation and implementation of labor relations programs, processes, and policies for represented employee populations company wide. **Responsibilities**
+ Develops and implements labor relations policies and procedures
+ Develops and executes labor relations strategies in alignment with organizational goals
+ Negotiates collective bargaining agreements and managing grievances and arbitrations in accordance with legal requirements

+ Develops, implements and communicates labor and employee relation policies, practices and strategies for the company

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Seven or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
+ Experience in unionized environments with multiple bargaining units and a working knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
**The Preferred**
+ Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Master's in Law (MSL), or other advanced degree (tied to investigations, contract negotiations, Labor and Employment Law, or other related areas).
+ Minimum seven years of experience as Chief Negotiator managing multiple collective bargaining agreements. Minimum ten years of experience working in Labor Relations or commensurate law firm/legal experience.
+ Strong knowledge of contract, labor, and employment law (NLRA, Board proceedings, etc.)

Summary
This position will work directly for the Environmental Support Services team at Coronado Generating Station (CGS) a coal-fired generating station located near Saint Johns, AZ. Environmental Support Services duties include management of regulatory/internal reporting, air quality, ground/surface water quality, site waste, hazardous waste, coal combustion residuals, ammonia PSM/RMP, asbestos/lead abatement, and radiation safety.
This position will collaborate both with onsite operations and corporate Environmental Support Services. In this role, you will lead the Ammonia- Risk Management Plan (RMP) and Process Safety Management (PSM) program while supporting the daily functions of the CGS Air Quality program. The work schedule is onsite, Monday through Thursday with 10-hour shifts.
What You'll Do
Performs activities that support compliance demonstrations with regulatory permits/requirements (Title V Air Quality, RMP, PSM) including monitoring, QA/QC, record keeping, and reporting.
Performs as member of the Air Quality team, often leading multi-department teams in support of SRP environmental compliance and permitting activities.
Develops and manages project budgets related to air quality and ammonia management.
Prepares recommendation material for management consideration.
Prepares and/or conducts written and oral reports and presentations.
Evaluates corporate operating environment and related engineering, scientific, political, economic, sociological, and demographic issues.
Collaborates with governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations, often in a leadership role, to advance SRP environmental goals and objectives.

Primary Purpose:

Primary Purpose:
Schedules and oversees progress and due dates of SDG&E contractor construction work from contractor assignment through construction completion. Manages the environmental screening and distribution of projects received through SoCalGas' Environmental Tracking System (eTS) and Geographic Environmental Analysis and Reporting System (GEARS). These systems house thousands of internal projects submitted by the company's various operating groups.

+ Seven or more years of experience in designing, building, implementing, maintaining, and supporting complex Utility, Realtime or Enterprise systems - OR - Seven or more years of experience as a user of a Utility grid application
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related STEM major.
+ Experience performing power flow analysis for electric utility company.
+ Experience in programming with C++, Java, Python, or PowerShell.
+ Experience with real-time power system applications such as: State Estimator, Distribution State Estimator, Real-time contingency analysis, Network Topology Processor, Linear State Estimator.
+ Experience working in the electric utility industry.
+ Strong communication, ethics, negotiation, teamwork and optimally hand multiple assignments at once
**Additional Information**
+ This position's work mode is **hybrid.** The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
