Job Summary:
Supports the Head Chef in the food preparation process for the mission. Assists in the training and supervision of all staff, guests and volunteers under the direction of the Food Services Director.

Role Specific Responsibilities

• In the absence of department supervision, maintains good order and discipline while on shift and reports any violations in accordance with Mission and department policy
• Works in harmony with all staff, guests and volunteers modeling Christ-like character and conduct
• Functions as the staff point person for the staff, guests and volunteers performing tasks in cooperation with shifts when acting as shift supervisor.
• Perform work on Food Services dock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: Food services experience in a restaurant or institutional setting, willing to manage staff, guests and volunteers, excels in a fast-paced work environment, enjoys menu planning and working in a team environment. High school diploma or GED preferred. SERV safe certification preferred. This position will work every other weekend and holidays.
