What the Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Pediatric will need: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or ability to attain credentials within 1 year of hire. Graduate of a two-year program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP). Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited CAAHEP program Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Certification or re-certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire. Preferred: 1 year of Pediatric ultrasound experience.
