This is a leadership role focused on ensuring the seamless delivery of complex software projects, from planning through execution.
As a Manager, Software Delivery Lead, you will own project planning, manage cross-functional teams, and lead deep technical discussions to ensure alignment with business objectives. You will partner with engineering leaders, enterprise architects, and product teams to drive execution, remove roadblocks, and deliver high-impact solutions.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Fulfillment Transformation and plays a crucial role in accelerating digital transformation in supply chain management.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead complex, large-scale software delivery initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
Build and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, and execution frameworks to track progress, risks, and dependencies.
Oversee end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to production deployment, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution.
Serve as a leader and mentor, providing guidance to teams on best practices, execution strategies, and continuous improvement.
Drive structured project execution by applying agile frameworks at scale to ensure clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and scope changes
Provide regular reporting on project health and key decisions to senior leadership.
Act as the primary point of contact between business, product, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Facilitate decision-making across multiple teams, ensuring alignment on key business and technical priorities.
Partner with enterprise architects, principal engineers, and product teams to drive scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Participate in deep technical discussions, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology architecture.
Challenge and influence solution design decisions, ensuring they meet business objectives, technical feasibility, and operational excellence.
Advocate for modern development practices, cloud adoption, and automation strategies.
Continuously evaluate and improve software delivery processes, focusing on efficiency, predictability, and quality.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize team performance.
Drive a culture of continuous learning, process improvement, and operational excellence.
What You Bring
8+ years of experience leading complex software delivery initiatives, with a proven track record of successful execution.
5+ years of experience designing software on AWS
5+ years of experience developing scaled enterprise software solutions with React & Node.js
5+ years of experience in DevOps, ITIL and SRE with tools including GitHub & GitHub Actions, Sonarcube, JFrog, Artifactory, ServiceNow
5+ years of engineering team management and team building in a scaled agile environment
Strong background in architectural patterns, system design, and technical decision-making
Demonstrable ability to participate in and influence deep technical design discussions with architects and engineers based on modern cloud-centric tech stacks and AI/ML solutions
Proven experience integrating data pipelines and data science models into scaled solutions using tools like Python, Databricks & Sagemaker.
Experience managing multiple software development teams of 5-10+ developers through full product development cycles
Experience with hiring, onboarding, and growing software engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and execution frameworks.
Experience in cross-functional program management, navigating competing priorities across multiple teams.
Manage day to day tasks and set workplans for software engineering teams
Expertise in agile delivery methodologies and adapting processes for large-scale implementations to deliver at scale quickly
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability.
Able to develop and apply strong process and frameworks to the software lifecycle from inception through construction and long-term operational support
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
