We clear and settle nearly $2 trillion in U.S. dollar payments each day, representing half of all commercial ACH and Wire volume. The Clearing House s Real Time Payments (RTP ) network, launched in 2017, was the first new national payments system in 40 years. The RTP network currently includes over 500 banks and credit unions and currently clears and settles approximately one million transactions per day on average. RTP volume is rapidly growing and TCH is continuing to work with financial institutions to develop innovative products and solutions for both domestic and international payments.
