Job Description
What you will do
As a Motorsport Controls Software Engineer within the Bosch Motorsport team, you will be responsible for the following:
Software development for motorsport projects with a focus on controls software using MATLAB/Simulink
Software-in-the-loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
Delivering high quality software in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
Adhering to and improving applicable software development processes
Developing software tools for workflow improvement
Identifying and resolving both component and system issues
Providing on-site application support for Motorsport products at customer, track, and other development sites
Interfacing directly with customers to collect and clarify software requirements
Creating and following project timelines
Working as part of global software development team

Responsibilities
Work on a 12-week software development project with a team of interns and/or full-time engineers
Use Microsoft .NET Core technologies and other software tools to solve problems that have an immediate impact on product operations
Receive mentorship and guidance from our highly accomplished development team members, participate in team meetings and work on actual projects in our commercial software products
Learn and practice Agile development methodologies in a highly collaborative, team environment
Write code, be creative, and solve complex technical problems on a daily basis
Qualifications
Computer Science or Software Engineering major
Passion for technology, building software, and continuous learning
Excellent communication and team interaction skills
Previous experience with Angular and/or Python is a plus
