About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer (SSE) is an integral part of what makes the development team successful at Rygen Technologies. We like to believe that every engineer is an architect. The SSE contributes at all levels of the SDLC. This begins early in the design of the product all the way through deployment of the final artifact. The SSE delivers ongoing business impact across a team, product capability or technical system.
You will play a role in ensuring the quality of your team's technical work, both code and software designs. You are responsible for designing the software or systems required in your area of ownership and ensuring that they meet their design objectives. Your understanding of business context and purpose will enable you to make technical decisions aligned with longer term needs, not just immediate requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Baci Qualifications

Develops leading edge technologies and know-how from Industry, partner companies, local universities and internal partners into automotive concepts, then into company project development and Integration processes. II. Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities: List the major duties/accountabilities to achieve the positions key objectives.
Designs and develops native applications on Mobile platforms
Defines and documents the design of functionality through use cases, business process flows, UI design, and UML modeling as necessary
Works on several development initiatives concurrently and provide subject matter expertise on customer implementations and product customization
Works with other developers to develop functionality following existing style and coding standards
Reviews designs, demo prototypes and provides application support
Defines the visualization and realization of future technologies, which will support the complete process from development of concepts and vision to full production ready solutions, which can be integrated rapidly into the automotive environment.
Serves as a primary point of contact for other engineers and specialists in the team to provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Serves as internal consultant to other developers and engineers as needed, providing assistance in all phases of product life-cycle development.
Maintains accurate, meaningful and updated technical and non-technical documentation pertaining to all aspects of area(s) of responsibility.
Analyzes business critical processes, evaluates and recommends improvements.
Measures performance of delivered services through set of agreed metrics. Manages appropriate action to make corrections so that all services agreements are met.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
III. Position Competencies:
A) Education: BA/BS Degree in Business, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred or the equivalent of 4 years professional IT related experience. MS degree (preferred).
B) Experience: 5+ years of technical experience in Information Technology to include 2+ years of experience in mobile technologies, web, vehicle IT with demonstrated strengths in software and hardware design, development, Integration and testing
C) Training: As applicable, per company training guidelines.
D) Licenses and/or Certifications: Process/project management experience or training/certifications (preferred).

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Competency Development & Resource Adequacy:
* Develop training materials as well as Plan, execute and monitor classroom and practical trainings for NDT level 1 and 2 certifications in the plant. Make sure plants are equipped with needed certified personnel to perform inspections.
* Track the certification database and ensure only certified resources performing inspection in the plants.
Measurement and Inspection Methods:
* Eliminate or reduce the variation between the NDT reviewers through periodic training and assessments.
* Lead and/or support new development of NDT methods and tooling.
* Execution and implementation of new inspection methods, Geometrical verification methods, new technologies and new AC after the completion of development from Engineering
Quality Compliance
* Plan and execute NDT process audits, NDT personnel review and periodic data as per defined frequency.
* Monitor inspection effectiveness, support RCA and CAPA closure with stakeholders.
* Drive improvements in the audit process to make it is lean and effective.
* Perform RCA for reoccurring defects in the process and improve the quality of products.
Operational process and support:
* Perform NDT data analysis accurately to secure Zero defect escapement and zero over processing.
* Support plant NDT resources towards eliminating rescanning (First Time Right scan)
* Govern and monitor KPIs defined within the function/team and secure performance level is sustained.
* Set base line for all NDT activities and analysis and strive improvements in tools and equipment that would make the NDT process more effective.
* Support technology projects.
* Tracking, monitoring, and improving performance and process.
Required Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with experience in Quality domain
* Mandatory to be certified UT level 2 in conventional and advanced Phased Array (PAUT) methods as per ASNT SNT-TC-1A. UT level 3 certification will be an added strength.
* Certified in IR inspection method.
* Mandatory to have experience in composite materials.
* Minimum of 8+ years' work experience in Manufacturing, preferably in blade manufacturing with UT inspections. Also experience in Aerospace and Marine industry will be considered.
* International experience and cultural awareness covering Americas, Europe, India, and China.
* Knowledge of blade manufacturing is preferable, combined with explicit knowledge on Quality tools, Systems and Processes, Audits, Six Sigma, PFMEA, Control plans, PPAP.
* Strong English language skill (verbal and writing).
* Preferable to have an ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification and relevant audit experience.
* Flexible to travelling across LM business units globally for executing training and operational support.
* Good set of communication skills.
The salary range for this position is $82,100 - $136,800 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
