Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
The responsibilities of this position involve significant physical activities including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and twisting. The employee must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization requirements. The employee may experience a change in work conditions related to weather issues, traveling in rain, snow, etc., and must be able to adapt to the work environment to meet patient care needs.
Required Education and Experience:
• Registered Nurse graduated from an accredited program currently licensed and in good standing with the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• One to two years of experience in nursing in an acute care setting and 1 year experience in home health, hospice, or comparable experience is preferred.
• Desire to discover and demonstration of aptitude for the hospice philosophy and comfort care.
