I. BASIC FUNCTION Carry out the operations of cleaning liquid tank barges while maintaining a safe and productive atmosphere. II. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performing all aspects of liquid barge cleaning work including prepare/check equipment, enter and exit barges, use cleaning equipment. 2. Utilize hand tools such as pressure washers, mechanical spinners, or brushes to effectively clean the tank barges. 3. Ability to work outdoors in weather such as rain, snow, and very hot and cold temperatures. Since the use of a respirator mask is required, liquid barge techs must be clean shaven at all times to ensure an effective face seal. Individuals selected for this position will be responsible for leading and/or scribing PHAs, LOPAs, and performing related consulting activities with a focus on the refining industry What You Will Do: * Lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) using a variety of methods (HAZOP, What-if, checklists, etc.) and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) to provide risk identification/assessment * Be client-facing, having a proven record of building and maintaining positive and professional client relationships * Prepare, facilitate, and write recommendations and reports for the PHA (using HAZOP, what-if, checklists, etc.) * Selecting appropriate PHA methodology based on the complexity of the process and hazards involved * Ensure the PHA scenarios, consequences, safeguards, and recommendations are complete and correctly identified and captured * Read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Drawings, Cause & Effect Charts, Instrument Diagrams, etc. * Collaborate directly with clients on technical aspects of the projects and can communicate technical requirements and deliverables clearly and concisely What You Will Need: Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably chemical or mechanical engineering discipline * At least 15 years of process safety experience and knowledge of OSHA's process safety management (PSM) standard (29 CFR 1910.119) and/or EPA's rule on risk management programs (40 CFR 68) * Facilitated at least twenty (20) PHAs of process units with three (3) of them including a LOPA evaluation * Experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, refinery experience preferred * Extensive experience participating on PHA teams as leader and scribe * Currently have, or the ability to obtain a TWIC card Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * The ideal candidate will have fifteen (15) or more years of experience facilitating PHAs and LOPAs (using HAZOP, what-if, checklists, etc.) * Excellent technical, interpersonal, communication, and writing skills * Knowledgeable/proficient with Microsoft Word and one or more commercial PHA software programs (e.g., PHA-Pro, Leader) * Ability to read and understand process drawings (e.g., PFD, and P&ID) * Knowledge of safety systems (Fire & Gas, Deluge, ESD) and safeguards * Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) * Excellent skills in facilitating group meetings and engaging teams * The ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written means, and able to adapt communication to best reach the intended audience within or outside the organization * Willing to travel up to 50% of the time, with primary work assignments in Texas and Louisiana * Proficient or adept at learning to conduct client team meetings "remotely" via Web (TEAMS, WebEx, etc.) Reporting Relationship: Report to the Director of Operations or other designated senior members of management. This position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of their vehicle. Drivers are responsible for delivering petroleum products to company owned sites and customers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations. Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws. Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy. Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis. Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures. Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis. IMTT Illinois is a specialty chemical storage facility seeking aspiring engineering/tech students to assist in the development and completion of P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and API 2350 standards for systems throughout the terminals. You will work closely with the engineering team to interpret and revise system drawings, tag system components, review and interpret engineering and construction drawings, compile and calculate items related to API 2350, and assist with the daily project work of the department. You do not need to be pursuing specifically an engineering degree: all applicants pursuing degrees/certifications in related fields are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Reviewing and revising P&IDs and single-line diagrams. Walking down systems and tagging system components. Reviewing and interpreting tank engineering/construction drawings. Compiling and calculating various items related to API 2350. Weekly reporting and review of progress to the engineering team. Assisting the engineering team in miscellaneous engineering projects. Requirements and Qualifications TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) for access to IMTT's terminal locations. Company Reimbursed. Proficient with Auto Cad.
