The most vulnerable and even dignified job is being a tanker man. A Tanker man oversees the transfer of liquid cargo from one ocean to another. They must have the standard of all U.S merchant marines, and they must have the physical strength to drive the tanker, which is not as easy as we commonly think of.

A deckhand is a seafarer whose role primarily revolves around performing manual tasks, mostly directed by a manager or higher authority. They are mainly responsible for maintaining cleanliness, keeping the machines well-oiled and in good condition, handling cargo, and operating various equipment for navigation and communication. There are also instances when a deckhand can prepare meals, serve clients, and even prepare cabins. Furthermore, a deckhand needs to coordinate with fellow seafarers at all times, as working in a ship can be very unpredictable.

Ordinary seamen are nautical trainees who perform assigned deck jobs such as cleaning the ship, collecting and disposing of garbage, and maintaining various types of ship equipment. These ordinary seamen must assist in the movement of cargo on and off the ship by storing and securing them. They must assist the superior seaman or officers in any aspect of the ship's operation and maintenance. Ordinary seamen must also stand guard both in port and at sea whenever the situation demands.

Galley hands, also known as utility hands, are usually tasked to assist the cook in preparing the food and dining room, in serving the meals, and in cleaning up the kitchen. In doing so, they should have good communication skills, can follow specific instructions, and can interact with people. Part of their tasks is to operate cooking equipment like deep fryers and grill, clean the galleys such as pantries and walk-in freezer, and assist in unloading and storing food supplies. Additionally, they may clean rooms, showers, and furniture.

A terminal operator is responsible for assisting daily operations within the transportation or manufacturing agencies. Terminal operators inspect the stability and efficiency of equipment and machinery to ensure its optimal performance during operational processes. They conduct quality control tests to determine inconsistencies in terminal functions and strategize techniques to enhance distribution policies. A terminal operator must have excellent organizational and mechanical skills to maintain terminal equipment and assist the team in performing duties to achieve business goals and objectives.

A flatbed driver is responsible for operating flatbed trucks to manage distribution and deliveries of goods and services from the warehouse to various assigned designations. Flatbed drivers assist in loading and unloading items, maintain a copy of receipt orders, process payments, and respond to the customers' inquiries and concerns. They also inspect the stability and performance of the truck's engine before and after operations and perform necessary repairs to prevent delivery delays and avoid potential road hazards.
