Leads and develops a safety team of 5 - 8, fostering their professional growth through formal training and hands-on experience. Conducts risk assessments across manufacturing sites and field service sites. Designs and implements comprehensive safety training programs. Ensures all documentation meets regulatory and customer compliance standards. Manages compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations, including liaising with third-party consultants. Oversees the execution of essential health and safety programs. Develops and reviews job hazard analyses. Leads safety investigations. Manages safety records and internal compliance software as the program administrator. Tracks and analyzes safety trends to identify patterns and potential risks. Education, Skills, and Experience A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Over 10 years of experience in Safety, and over 5 years experience as a Safety Manager in manufacturing or construction settings. Preferably both. A demonstrated background in creating a new safety program or revamping an existing safety program Skilled in gaining acceptance of diverse perspectives. Capable of making well-informed decisions and effectively communicating them with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to travel up to 50% as required. Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. MSHA experience would be a plus.

Grease and change out rollers as needed. Installing and repairing industrial electrical components such as motors, gears, pulleys, and control panels. Operate telehandlers, forklifts, and/or manlifts. Load and offload work trucks and semi-trailers. Align and calibrate parts and mechanisms. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine work procedures. Frontline customer service through answering questions, responding to complaints, completing requested tasks, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Performs rigging to facilitate the lifting of belt rolls, presses and tooling on and off conveyor systems. Working Conditions: This job requires the ability to respond to 24/7 call outs and to work extended hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Work may be conducted outdoors in all weather conditions, near low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment and heavy machinery, in areas with elevations in excess of 100 feet, and confined spaces adhering to strict safety protocols. Exposure to loud noises from machinery is common, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This job involves risk of electrical shock. This job requires frequent travel between RMS facilities and customer sites. Physical Requirements: The position demands physical mobility to navigate uneven surfaces, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, fine motor skills for handling small components and tools, and the capability to climb ladders and work at heights. Sustained physical effort, including standing, bending, pushing, digging, pulling, kneeling, crawling and reaching for extended periods, is required. Good vision, including color vision and depth perception, and the ability to hear alarms and communications in noisy environments are essential. Additionally, proficiency in speaking, hearing, reading, and typing in English is required for effective communication and documentation.
