Job Description: As a Special Needs Companion, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with children and young adults with diverse abilities from ages 4 years old up to 30 years old. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing companionship and emotional support to our clients.
Assisting with daily activities such as homework help, meal preparation, and recreational outings.
Engaging in meaningful interactions and promoting socialization and independence.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with individuals with special needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
Ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each client.
MUST be available at least 3 days of the week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9pm
Weekends: 7am-7pm or 7am-12am (BIG PLUS!!)
Opportunity for more hours Mornings, Evenings and Weekday/Weekends if applicable.
