Caregiver Department: Nursing FLSA Classification: Non-exempt Summary of Position The Caregiver plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents with routine daily care services in a caring and respectful manner in accordance with the assessment and service plan. Essential Job Functions Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) tasks, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility maintaining resident dignity and respect and in accordance with all policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines. Check each resident per service schedule to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes. Ensure resident safety by assisting in the performance of fire or other safety drills. Perform other essential job-related duties as assigned.
