MHS is hiring married couples to become flex houseparents. Flex houseparents are couples who reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. Flex houseparents provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.     Critical Care Medicine Advanced Practice Provider Fellow The MedStar Health Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship is a one-year program (October-September) in which an APP fellow will engage in an interprofessional team at a large tertiary hospital serving a diverse critical care population. The program is a formalized pathway for new graduate APPs to be comprehensively trained in Critical Care Medicine with an opportunity to work within Critical Care at MedStar Health. The APP Fellow will complete rotations through five specialty Critical Care areas, rotate through 2 electives, and gain exposure to the hospital-wide Sepsis Response Team. By the end of the year, the APP Fellow will demonstrate competency in several Critical Care domains, by way of the program's objectives: * Obtain a comprehensive experience in a high acuity, high volume critical care system * Gain a deeper understanding of the anatomy and physiology of common pathologies seen in a diverse critical care population. * Develop proficiency in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide variety of critical care populations. * Advance skills in teamwork, communication, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity critical care setting. * Prepare Critical Care APP Fellows for independent practice in a wide variety of Critical Care Practice settings.
