GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Early Care and Education Site Supervisor (ECE Site Supervisor) supports an engaging, high quality, early learning environment that meets the developmental needs of all children. The ECE Site Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the center and ensures that all licensing regulations are adhered to.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education,
or
documentation demonstrating qualifications as a Center Director per NH Childcare Licensing guidelines.
Minimum of 1500 hours experience working with children in a licensed childcare program or public / private elementary school.
Documentation of 3 credits in management or supervision, or at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management
Assumes responsibility for the center's day-to-day operation.
Ensures the health and safety of children and staff by maintaining a healthy and safe environment. Ensure facilities, equipment and supplies are adequately and appropriately maintained.
Engages in monthly observation of classrooms (infant/toddler/preschool).
Collaborates with teachers to create a rich, engaging learning environment and provides monthly reflective supervision to support high quality programming.
Primary contact for Childcare Licensing Unit, with support from the Compliance Manager.
Ensures that facilities and documentation are maintained in accordance with NH licensing requirements, safety policies and CAPSC procedures. This includes monthly fire and emergency drills, maintaining online CONNECTIONS site, signing accident/incident reports, and ensuring appropriate documentation standards are met.
Responsible for ensuring location is up to date with Granite Steps for Quality reporting.
Responds effectively to crisis situations.
Informs Compliance Manager of any facility improvements needed and acts as a point of contact for facilities or contractors.
Ensures all child files are CCLU compliant

Effectively delegates responsibilities to team members.
Approves timesheets, expense reports, mileage reports, time off requests and other employee action forms for assigned site's HS Lead Teachers, Early Childhood Educators, Assistant Early Childhood Educators, and Early Childhood Classroom Aides
Identifies agenda items for monthly building meetings in conjunction with other program managers
In conjunction with the Education Manager provides input on staff evaluations and goal setting.
Provides classroom volunteer orientation.
