The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. What You'll Do
Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Follows established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately addresses safety concerns
Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses. Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
Keeps incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and reports freight damage claims
Prepares branch orders from the warehouse and ensures that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
Processes paperwork regarding shipments including but not limited to; verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct postage tape and label, following customer shipping instructions and, insuring the shipment when necessary
Operates machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
Loads common carrier and company vehicles
Inspects and performs minor maintenance on equipment

Makes deliveries to branches/customers as needed

The Clerk II will also perform general office responsibilities including filing, scanning, copying, and ordering supplies.
This position may also include performing online searches for incarceration history, trial sentencing, and filing of documentation if needed.
Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field or higher degree in a related field; OR two years of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience in one or more of the following areas: public health, data entry, using a computer database or electronic health system, incoming/outgoing mail, faxing/scanning/copy machine, working with highly confidential information.
Experience making phone calls to follow up on outstanding requests for information.
Conditions of Employment Grant funded position.
Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.

is required.

Essential Job Requirements:
Receives, unloads, sorts, replenishes, pulls and loads freight.

Replenishes product in the appropriate pick slots.
Loads pallets of product onto trucks using warehouse rolling stock.

About the Role…
As a Logistics Clerk you will be responsible for data entry related to the movement of inventory, checking in/out drivers for order pick up. This includes the scheduling of transportation, processing of shipping documents, communicating with warehouses, creation of transfers in the warehouse management system and processing of inventory including receipts, shipment posting, adjustments and movements.

About the Work Environment…
This position is located at the Amsterdam, New York LEED certified production facility. Most job functions are performed in a well-lit, environmentally controlled office environment. Accurately creating and processing stock transfer orders (STO) for movement of inventory between plants.
Receiving Stock Transfer Orders (STO) and Purchase Orders (PO) in ERP system.
Processing of returned goods (RMA) to include data entry and manual paperwork.
Tracking of inbound and outbound rental pallets at production facility to ensure all are accounted for.
Processing scheduling requests for both inbound and outbound shipments with carriers.
Assisting with cycle count process including activating counts, ensuring data is capture and manually entering if needed.
Creating work instructions to document current processes.
Creating the pick orders and providing support to supply chain staff while they pick and process orders to ship.
Ensuring completion and finalizing the paperwork for customer orders prior to shipping.
