Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations & Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day fulfillment operations by ensuring efficient handling of orders, inventory, and shipping processes. You will work closely with various teams to facilitate smooth and accurate order processing and shipping while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily morning updates on all upcoming shipping details to the team.
Prepare, print, and transfer orders for Local Studs, Diamonds, and Home Preview requests as needed.
Handle contract-out or contract-in transactions efficiently.
Ensure the accuracy of GIN (Goods in) and invoice documentation.
Manage the assembly process for shipping, including packing slips, GIN, invoice docs, and FedEx labels for upcoming EPZ shipments.
Address any requests from reports and ensure timely completion.
Print FedEx Overnight and APO/Army-USPS labels for relevant shipments.
Process Memo requests and manage Memo returns as necessary.
Conduct monthly inventory checks for Shelfstock, diamonds, studs, HP (home preview), influencer, reserve, and line items.
Assist the packer in verifying FedEx/USPS address labels and ensure proper packing of orders.
Ensure the packing team has adequate supplies from the Basement or 1st floor.
Enter detailed notes in Shopify for Resize, Repair, Recraft, and Exchange orders that are shipped daily.
Generate and upload FedEx & USPS labels to our internal systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3-5 years of operations or production experience, ideally within an eCommerce, jewelry or fulfillment environment.
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Shopify, Microsoft Office, and shipping platforms.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Shipping Specialist is to ensure that all incoming material is received properly and disbursed in a timely manner at the New Jersey MacDermid Alpha site. The position is also charged with ensuring that all available materials (domestic and international) ship on time and in a cost-effective manner. The position will also provide administrative and technical support to the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function, as well as some site support functions as needed and as requested.
What will you be doing?
* Acts as main contact for shipping of material (equipment, materials, machinery, bulk items, products, etc.) for all departments at the New Jersey MAES facility.
* Monitors carrier shipments/deliveries coming into the site from outside vendors and globally.
* Interacts regularly with the ESI Logistics Manager on issues that may arise with shipments.
* Interacts directly with US Customs to resolve issues/problems with shipments.
* Interacts with shipping companies when shipping bulk items to determine value/cost.
* Produces labels and documentation for shipping Samples for preforms and paste to customers and other MacDermid Alpha/ESI sites.
* Enter receivers in the JDE computer system.
* Assist in inspecting incoming material for compliance with internal requirements.
* Assure all needed purchase orders and paperwork are available for smooth JDE entry.
* Update and record receiver worksheets to assure all material received is recorded and entered in JDE.
* Generate bills of lading for outbound shipping and handle all necessary customer documentation for delivery.
* Perform the shipping of small packages via appropriate and least expensive delivery services.
* Generate required documents to import and export shipments and receipts.
* Ensures compliance with all hazardous material shipping requirements as related to Hazmat, IATA, Customs regulations, etc. Completes TSCA forms as required.
* Troubleshoots and shipping related issues to resolution.
* Provide administrative and technical support as needed to the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function.
* Upon request and as needed may provide some site support functions.
