Funciones y responsabilidades:
Solicitar y revisar los materiales necesarios para las órdenes de trabajo de producción.
Preparar y emitir materiales según los informes del ERP.
Informar al Encargado de Entrada de Datos de Producción sobre la escasez de materiales.
Notificar discrepancias en las solicitudes de producción al Encargado de Entrada de Datos de Producción.
Recibir, descargar y almacenar materiales.
Garantizar que la rotación de inventario cumpla con los estándares establecidos (por ejemplo, un palé a la vez desde VMI).
Ordenar artículos de gasto según los números mínimos y máximos.
Coordinar la entrega de los materiales necesarios.
Coordinar y realizar inventarios físicos cíclicos.
Verificar inexactitudes en el inventario y discrepancias.
Garantizar la emisión completa de Órdenes de Trabajo.
Cumplir con horarios, capacitaciones, procedimientos operativos y protocolos de seguridad.
Informar al Supervisor sobre peligros de seguridad en el edificio o equipo.
Mantener un área de trabajo limpia y organizada.
Informar cualquier escasez de material para mantener un suministro adecuado.
Ejercer el debido cuidado en el uso de materiales, equipos y suministros para promover prácticas seguras y ambientales.
Completar formularios según lo solicitado por el supervisor (por ejemplo, revisiones de montacargas, registros de conteo de recepción).
Realizar otras funciones laborales asignadas.

Summary/Objective
The Shipping Clerk facilitates and coordinates the entire shipping process, including preparing records of shipments, bills of lading and records of receipt.
Essential Functions
* Verifies inventory levels for orders prior to scheduling shipping appointments.
* Prepares bills of lading for each shipment and checks and records all items loaded for shipment.
* Posts shipments to customer orders and calculates balance yet to be shipped.
* Upon completion of shipment, closes out orders and forwards document to production planning and accounting departments.
* Notifies supervisor or planning department when major discrepancies regarding quality or quantity occur.
* Coordinate daily shipment between warehouses, process warehouse transfers.
* Communicate with internal departments in regards to receiving of items into the warehouse.
* Answers incoming phone calls, reply to emails and checks in visitors.
* Checks in drivers and ensures drivers adhere to all safety policies.
* Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, and quality requirements.
* Performs other related duties as required or assigned, including work in other areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload
