Wastewater Plant Operator II
Section 1 - Position Summary
Under the direction of a Lead Wastewater Plant Operator(s), and/or the Plant Supervisor (depending on the size and scope of the facility), the Wastewater Plant Operator II performs, plans, and organizes the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater facilities and associated systems including, but not limited to, headworks, liquid streams, solids handling, odor control, structures, SCADA, and lift stations; performs a variety of work assignments to ensure acceptable asset condition, water quality, and health and safety standards are met or exceeded; and performs and/or supervises related work as required to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.
Section 2 - Major Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with supervisory personnel and other operators to assure optimal process efficiency, proper monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor facility operations by observation, collecting and testing samples, and reading instrumentation (SCADA) to ensure compliant and efficient operations.
Perform a range of treatment facility activities including, but not limited to, operation of equipment, maintenance, monitoring systems, managing equipment performance and process data, process improvement, record keeping, and preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
Notify appropriate personnel of needed repairs and renewal; c oordinate with maintenance personnel; and plan, perform, and implement maintenance procedures for treatment assets and lift stations (includes inventory control and management).
Vigilantly monitor the facility for any breaches of security and alert appropriate law enforcement agencies and/or supervisors, as appropriate for the situation.
Maintain thorough logs and records in both written and electronic form as required; use these records to improve the function and efficiency of various operations.
Maintain facility grounds and general housekeeping, as well as the appearance of the facility, in collaboration with other staff and outside contractors.
Monitor systems and assets during emergencies and scheduled shutdowns; troubleshoot, diagnose, and report problems; respond to emergencies; and schedule and coordinate responses, repairs, clean-up, remediation, etc.
Observe safety guidelines as required by State statutes and as prescribed by the NTMWD. This includes identifying and mitigating safety hazards as well as assisting in the implementation of safety programs.
Coordinate with personnel to receive shipments, monitor unloading processes, record into inventory, and check shipment documents for compliance to standard.
Learn and comply with applicable NTMWD policies and procedures.
Assume the responsibilities of direct supervisor(s) as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Section 3 - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must maintain knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, compliance requirements, operations and maintenance requirements, and reporting/record keeping requirements; including the ability to troubleshoot wastewater equipment and processes and be knowledgeable with performing wastewater tests and interpreting results.
Must communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with supervisors, peers, and subordinates to convey information.
Maintain basic computer skills, and electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Section 4 - Education And Experience
Possess two (2) years of experience in wastewater treatment or a suitable combination of directly relevant education and experience, as determined by NTMWD.
Maintain a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (or predecessor agency) Class C Wastewater Treatment Operator's License.
Possess a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree or trade certification is preferred).
Maintain a valid Texas Driver's License.
Section 5 - Environmental Factors, Activity Levels and Equipment
The duties and responsibilities are generally performed in a wastewater treatment environment. The position involves sitting (up to 6 hours per day), frequent standing, frequent walking, light to heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.), light carrying, frequent bending and reaching, keyboarding, and telephone operation. It often requires an irregular work schedule and overtime hours. Specific physical conditions require frequent work with chemicals, tools, machinery, moving mechanical parts, etc.
The duties and responsibilities are performed both indoors and outdoors. Moderate to heavy exposure to sun, dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, biological hazards, rain, temperature and noise extremes, hazardous materials and chemicals, machinery, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, and water hazards are common. Performs and reviews work at locations that involve hazardous environments requiring the physical ability to wear and work using personal protective equipment (PPE) that meet or exceed guidelines such as established by OSHA which may result in some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, odors, chemicals and noise. Key Responsibilities:
Lighting Implementation & Optimization

Recordkeeping of all pertinent data and reports.

Meter Reading:
Read meters on a daily and/or special basis, typically on a customer's premises for service bills

Project Oversight and Coordination: Provides oversight, coordination of, equipment and material required to accomplish project associated with electrical facilities.
* Have a complete working knowledge of Electric Operations & Maintenance Procedures, Company Construction Standards, Policy and Procedures, and Safety Rules.
* Have the ability to complete required field paperwork to provide records of work completed; operation, maintenance, motor vehicle records, accurate time records, and other records which are required or could be required in the future.
* Investigate electric service trouble calls and make necessary corrective repairs to restore electric service.
* Perform maintenance to streetlighting system.
* Assist in underground construction and maintenance and all work in connection with the construction of high voltage lines de-energized; including sagging of conductors and connections of transformers, meters, regulators and other similar electrical equipment.

Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Security Account Manager in the Salt Lake, surrounding areas. This is a full-time position, with a pay rate of $35/hr-$45/hr.hr, paid weekly. The right candidate will combine security experience with a customer service mindset.
The Account Manager is responsible for the daily functioning of a contract site including operations, customer service, personnel management, security & safety, System metrics and analysis, in accordance with Sunstates objectives.
The requirements for the Security Manager include:
5 years of related management experience.

Ability to manage KPI in collaboration with the team(s)- KPI data may include: Safety violations, MTTR, Fire Ext. Knowledge of access control and CCTV systems, preferably C-Cure, and Genetec.

Ability to regularly travel to all contracted sites for client as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Management and Leadership:
Responsible for the direction, coordination, and management of all site Security Officers and SOC Operations. Provide operational direction to team members and manage all activities related to security, safety, and continuity. Identify and recruit new talent. Process new employees through the Sunstates Security onboarding system. Active participation in the employee on-boarding process including new hire interviewing and selection of candidates that meet Sunstates required level of qualifications and skills, ensure hires receive appropriate training and licensure within the designated time-frame.
Train, develop motivate and empower all security personnel to oversee the day-to-day site operations and promote the highest standards of efficiency, profitability, customer service and ethics. Manage employee performance for the sites including appraising performance, administering reward and incentive programs, coaching and staff development initiatives, and corrective actions with branch management guidance. In all employment activities will work with the appropriate supervisor to ensure that all decisions comply with company policy, federal and state regulations.
Develop and maintain processes and procedures for efficient SOC operations. Maintain knowledge of security systems and regulatory requirements for operating a security operations center. Provide oversight and feedback to mitigate issues and improve performance with internal teams and systems. Provide exemplary customer service to the client and escalate issues as required. Monitor and track metrics and key performance indicators for regularly scheduled reviews and audits.
Operations:
Coordinate with Region to establish site's goals & objectives and communicate these with the customers as required. Work with action plans towards goal achievement, including the establishment of sites and personnel quotas and/or goals. Manage administrative and operational functions to ensure the working schedule is accurate, projected working schedule is posted, vacation or time off requests are within company guidelines, the branch receives the scheduled weekly hours, and personnel topics are addressed with management guidance.
Manage account inspections and the inspection scorecard to assure compliance and meet/exceed our commitment. Produce Quality Assurance checks through eHub to assure positive results. Ensure that you are able to respond to questions for security personnel, respond to site events, or have qualified backup when you are not able to remain available.

The purpose of this classification is to perform entry-level semi-skilled work involving the repair and maintenance of
FKAA water distribution and transmission systems. Employees in this classification ensure safe working conditions,

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

certificate within 12 months of hire date and must obtain a Florida Class āCā WTPO license or higher or FDEP Level 3
