Key Responsibilities:

Apprentice Level (Level I) - best for candidates who have a passion for learning and a willingness to train. Experience working in any related field is a plus, but most importantly an understanding of mechanics and the ability to fix a variety of products is needed.
Service Professional Level (Level II) - this is the sweet spot for anyone who has at least a year of experience in a related field and knowledge of the basic concepts of electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting. What You'll Do

The primary responsibilities of the Fiber Splicer will be to splice/test fiber optic cables aerial and underground in both outside (OSP) and inside (ISP) settings. Read, create, and maintain splicing schematics, and diagrams, and create/maintain accurate splicing and field notes. Service Technician Job In Las Vegas, NV
As a Service Technician, you will perform an effective preventive maintenance service to all community vehicular and pedestrian entry and exit gates. Under limited supervision, technicians shall lubricate hinge points, and ensure gate operators are performing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Ensure all safety devices (AVI loop, road loops, photo eyes, etc.) are in working condition. Ensure the Telephone Entry System (TES) is in working condition.
Compensation: $20 per hour DOE
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
* Perform new gate and system installations.
* Maintain a good relationship with residents and community representatives.
* Inspect Telephone Entry Systems.
* Ensure all road loops are in working condition.
* Ensure all photo eyes are aligned and in working condition.
* Ensure all pedestrian gates are self-latching.
* Ensure pedestrian gate lock mechanisms are in working condition.
* Ensure all entry gate operator systems (Slave and Master) are in working condition.
* Ensure all boards are tested.
* Ensure all gears are in working condition.
* Inspect the overall integrity of the operator housing and anchoring.
* Install new wrought iron vehicular gates.
* Install new automation entry systems for new developments.
* Travel daily to attend service calls.
* Technician is required to be part of the on-call rotation program.
Skills and Qualifications:
* An ability to follow oral and written directions, keep accurate records, fill out logs and journals, and perform administrative operational functions.
* Must be able to weld (wire feed)
* Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment regarding automation systems.
* Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English as this position requires interfacing verbally with the public, tenants, their peers, and supervisors.
* Ability to prepare written reports and complete log sheets.
* Bilingual Spanish preferred
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
* Must be able to drive to different Company locations if requested.
* Some travel may be required.
* Work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions, with exposure to outdoor temperatures, weather variations, traffic and equipment noise, equipment vibrations, vehicle and/or chemical fumes, chemicals such as cleaning solvents and grease, machinery and their moving parts and dust.
* Work duties may require the ability to stand or walk on hard surfaces for frequent and prolonged periods of time.
