Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs related banquet set-up tasks to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and table décor e.g., centerpieces, votives, etc. Completes food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and ensuring workstations are stocked. Assists with food and table prep before events begin. Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating them. Takes beverage orders and serves food in specified stations, pours and refills wine, coffee, water, and other beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) throughout the event. Ensures final quality check on food and beverage items prior to serving guests according to pre-established standards. Addresses any member/guest issue promptly and communicates with management. Monitors assigned tables for members' and guests' satisfaction, quality and additional service. Assists in closing functions such as removing linen, bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, etc., and re-setting assigned banquet work area(s) for the next function when applicable.
