Responsibilities
* Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
* Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
* Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
* Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
* Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
* Maintain and inventory for both food and beverage stations.
* Maintain all event areas and front of house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
* Participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
* Ability to work independently during slower times
* Perform safe work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
* Have a high level of social contact. Ability to work closely with staff and deal often with patrons.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and select holidays.
* Must be detail oriented to ensure that work is accurate and complete.

Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent GED strong preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
* Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred.
* Must be at least eighteen years of age to serve alcoholic drinks.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains a clean work environment. Performs general cleaning duties including clearing and sanitizing tables.
Fosters good working relationships with guests and employees.
Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag. Must wear a gaming license if in possession of one.
If needed, takes guest orders accurately and serves food and beverages in a timely manner.
Regularly checks up on guests to ensure they are satisfied, offering refills if needed.
Performs sidework including stocking condiments, rolling silverware, and folding napkins.
Operates a brewer to prepare coffee for guests.
Delivers excellent customer service. Makes guests feel welcome and wanting to return.
Answers questions that guests may have regarding menu options or general information about the resort.
Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of Banquet operations at all times. Keeps the supervisor informed of any concerns.
Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies and procedures, safety standards, and health standards.
Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated hands-on hospitality, hosting or serving experience, preferably within a banquet or fine dining environment. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent. One (1) or more years of recent and related experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: No decision making is required beyond scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent customer service skills. Basic mathematical skills including the ability to add and subtract. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, stooping, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties require lifting trays containing food and lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties involve a flexible workweek with additional hours routinely required.
