The Promontory Club, located just outside of Park City, Utah is seeking a full time Senior Service Host to join our team. The duties of a Senior Service Host are to deliver service in an upscale atmosphere demonstrating the grace and hospitality indicative of a superior quality restaurant. Getting to know the membership of Promontory and their preferences and making the Sage Restaurant the Members' home dining room.
REGULAR ASSIGNED DUTIES:
Ensure the cleanliness of the dining room and FOH equipment operations. Monitoring and maintaining the ambiance of the dining area, including lighting, music, and overall cleanliness.
Ensures timely opening and closing of restaurant facilities and conducts opening and closing protocols.
Enjoys problem solving and is adept at multiple resolution styles with members and coworkers, is sure to conduct all inquiries and resolutions in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensuring reservations are organized and recorded correctly. Keeping track of reservations, updating the reservation system, and managing the flow of guests during peak times.
Maintains a cheerful and friendly disposition with members and coworkers despite the stress of the work environment. Able to interact with members and staff at a professional level.
Clean and neat professional appearance and attitude
Attention to detail and enforcement of company policies.
Build and maintain membership relationships for the betterment of Promontory and the community's mission.
Addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Planning and coordinating special events, private parties, or large group reservations, ensuring that all guest requirements are met.
Effectively communicating with the serving staff, kitchen, and other restaurant personnel to ensure efficient service and address any special requests or concerns from guests.
Deliver any other reasonable request of senior management.
Assist with all service in the Restaurant ensuring the needs of all guests are taken care of.
Maintain responsibility for compliance with regards to Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control.
Ensure that all health codes and company safety standards are complied with.
Reports to Sage's Front of House Manager.
Other duties as assigned or as required ensuring the guest has a positive and satisfactory dining experience.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENT: College Degree in Hospitality preferred. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required with four years' experience and/or training in an upscale restaurant environment, hotel, resort, or private club. Maintain TIPS and Serve Safe certifications.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A broad background in fine dining. Several years' experience supervising high end table service required. Basic computer skills and competency in the following Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and POS software.
WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB: Abide by Promontory policies and procedures and submit ideas for possible revision.
UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Must be willing to work various hours, holidays, weekends, and long hours on feet.
Must be at least 21 years or older and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Our gorgeous Cottonwood Creek community is looking for a server to join our team of dedicated senior living heroes!
Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:30am-3:30pm. Weekday Nights (varies) 4pm-7:30pm
Job Summary: The Server is responsible for making the residents dining experience pleasant and positive; providing the highest quality of customer service, while maintaining dining areas, seating residents and serving meals.
Essential Job Duties (Include % of time for each responsibility):
- Takes written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members and visitors in a professional, efficient and courteous manner making sure that customer satisfaction is the result 100%
- Assist residents with meal/menu selections as necessary or requested 30%
- Use proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables courteously and professionally (serving from the left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.) 100%
- Review residents dietary needs, as outlined by Supervisor 5%
- Track resident attendance at meals, and provide that information in a timely manner to the appropriate person 5%
- Ensure that all residents are greeted and seated properly, making extra efforts to integrate new residents making them feel welcome and comfortable 30%
- Ensure a clean sanitary dining area and comply with all policies and procedures regarding the proper handling and serving of food 100%

- Exposure to restaurant operations or the ability to learn
- Age over 18 years or have proper work permit and authorization documentation

- Complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results (must be within the last 6 months or within 7 days of employment)
- Basic counting skills as required by the position (tracking meals/residents, etc.)
- Good communication skills including the ability to speak, write, understand, and read English
- Ability to operate standard serving equipment (salad bar cart, trays, heating cart, etc.)
- Must be mindful regarding the use of resources and supplies, minimizing waste and misuse when possible

- Complete the dining room training course with CCG
- Must meet and maintain all state specific regulatory requirements
