Banquet Event Server Position Reports to: Director of Event Operations with additional supervision from Clubhouse Assistant Managers Employee Categories: Part Time or Full Time Year Round The Banquet Event Server will provide exceptional service in all event spaces to members and their respective guests. Complete the preparation, execution, and closeout of scheduled events in an array of the Club's event areas. Enhance event experiences by following proper service procedures and by anticipating member and guest needs. The Club stives to preserve a strong collaborative team environment with self-motivated individuals. Characteristics of a successful banquet event server include willingness and ability to interact and communicate courteously and politely with members and fellow team members as well as show initiative and pride in the service you are providing while upholding a positive and professional demeanor. Job Title: Bartender / Server / Cashier Department: Food and Beverage Reports To: Management Team FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Greets guests, sells menu items to customers in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner. * Projects a positive attitude and energy to customers at all times. * Supports front line by preparing items for sale, restocking product, maintaining clean and orderly work area. * Inputs orders into POS system, accepts payment and follows proper state law regarding alcoholic beverage sales. * Maintains proper stock of items to be sold at location. * Operates and maintains equipment appearance at location. * Follows proper close out procedures. * Cleans and maintains general cleanliness of area prior / after every shift. * Communicate guests' orders to keep a smooth workflow and maintain fast service. * Adheres to all safety procedures pertaining to location. * Conducts oneself in a professional and courteous manner. * Always follows direction of Supervisor / Management.
