Job Description The Spa Pool Host serves guests of the pool at the Spa and is a vital member of the service team, providing a warm welcome to all guests as they enter the pool deck, checking them in through the reservation system, escorting the guests to their chaise, cabana or table, answering the phone, making reservations, maintaining accurate status updates throughout service and sincere goodbye. Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests. Set up and close the pool deck each shift according to Auberge standards. Assist guests with arrival to spa treatments on time Properly answer guest inquiries Provide the pool area with fresh, clean towels and remove dirty towels and other items from the pool area Ensure dirty linens are taken to laundry nightly and clean linen is always stocked Present the food and beverage menu. Take food and beverage orders from the guest, suggesting signature items. Ability to pick up, serve drink and/or food orders exactly as requested to the correct guest, briefly announcing each drink/food as it is presented. Replenish the beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Provide guests with “surprise and delights” hourly during their pool experience.
