JOB SUMMARY: The Pool Server provides prompt and courteous food and beverage service to pool guests. This is a Full-time, seasonal position. Greets guests in a courteous manner, describes menu items, answers questions, and takes guests' orders for food and beverages. Accommodates any special requests. Serves menu items to guests. Refills water glasses, removes dirty dishes and silverware from tables, and wipes off tables. Responds to guests' requests promptly. Performs pre-shift and post-shift work, including stocking service station, making coffee, wiping off tables, etc. MUST be able to work a flexible shift that includes: Days, Afternoon, Nights and Weekends. Plus, work Holidays as well, if needed. General Description: Pool Snack Bar Servers are the heart of our summer pool operation. Our team is responsible for upholding an “unparalleled country club experience” for our members and their guests through first impressions at the Welcome Cabana; kind and attentive service throughout their visit, and always a fond farewell. Challenged to provide ideas to culinary team for various food & beverage menu specials. Completes job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: A team spirit and positive, outgoing attitude is a must. Knowledge of and ability to cater to the membership. Prior food service or childcare experience preferred. Full availability required - to include weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 35 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and climb stairs daily. Ability to bend and lift frequently. Ability to work in a hot environment outdoors for hours at a time. May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces.
