JOB SUMMARY
The Expeditor, or "Expo" in restaurant talk, is an essential position for the function of a restaurant. This position ensures that the food leaving the kitchen is correctly prepared according to the ticket, the plates are going to the right tables, and oversees finishing the plating. The expo is the direct line of communication between the front and back of house. On busy days, the expo will also run food to the proper tables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Stamina: Expect long, busy days on your feet. You also might need to lift heavy objects like trash bags, or pallets of stock.
Teamwork: You will be working with servers, bussers, bartenders and cooks to create a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
Strong communication skills are essential to the proper flow of the restaurant and speedy delivery of food to our guests.
Knowledge of the dining area setup. Will be expected to run food to the proper tables when servers are not available.
Setup and clean up of the expo station, rotation of product, and quality control are the main focus of this role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-
Applicant must be able to ski/snowboard - all on-mountain employees will be ride tested prior to their first day.
This position is required to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

Position Overview
KIRO FM is looking for fill in (on call) talk show host talent. A Host must be able to prepare and deliver entertaining, informative, compelling content for fast-paced local Seattle talk shows. Must have ability to prepare thoughtful, curious topics and present them in a fun, unique manner. Must have a strong background in digital content (i.e. streaming audio, video, social media etc.) and ability to grow the audience for these broadcasts across all media platforms and promote the show by using excellent writing, social media skills.
Will need to be prepared to submit a full hour of a recent talk show broadcast or relevant demo that demonstrates your abilities.

Tips are shared through a tip-pool on a biweekly basis. While we cannot guarantee tip amounts, starting employees can expect to earn $4-$6 per hour in tips. Top tier employees can expect to earn $10-$14 per hour in tips.
Our tip-pools are a material statement of our values and that while different positions have different duties, every team member in our restaurants shares in the responsibility to provide our guests with an outstanding experience. Our tip-pools reflect this shared responsibility by distributing all tips collected during each two-week pay period evenly to all tip-eligible employees based on hours worked and a service tier that is based on demonstration of skills and living our values at work.
