QSR Clerk - Level I Reports to: QSR Manager Positions Supervised: None BROAD FUNCTIONS: To prepare food, obtain payment and provide exceptional customer service SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets customers and prepares their orders, uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and computes the amount of the bill, collects payment from the customer and make change Prepares food neatly, accurately and in a timely manner Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains to customers accurately and in a cheerful and helpful manner Checks products in prep area and restocks items to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas or portion controls. This is a PERFECT job for after school or someone looking for super part time! Hours are 4:00pm-6:30pm e.o. weekend and 3 days a week. Taking care of dependent persons is worthwhile to work. Cleans dining room after meals - including sanitizing table tops, wiping down chairs, vacuuming etc. Also cleans salt and pepper shakers, sugar dishes, cream containers, etc. 4. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and service areas. 5. Put away all cleaned dishes. 6. Sweep and mop kitchen floors after each meal. 7. Comply with infection control protocols 8. Take and record temperatures of food, water, freezer, cooler as directed. 9. Remove trash and garbage from the kitchen: properly dispose of in a dumpster GENERAL: 1. Objective This position is responsible for setting the tone for the dining experience. The Host is a friendly, courteous, caring, and enthusiastic individual who champions the definition of “great service” by making the customer feel comfortable from the moment they walk in the door.
